Products
The energy transition will require efficient and affordable ways to store sustainably generated energy, including solar energy and wind power. In the past decade, the lithium-ion battery has become more widely used as an energy storage solution in electric vehicles, energy storage systems, and consumer electronics.
Electrolytes are one of four vital elements of lithium-ion batteries and are composed of carbonate solvents, lithium salt, and additives. Electrolytes are critical for maintaining stability in lithium-ion transport, playing a significant role in the energy density, power density, cycle life, and safety performance of lithium-ion batteries.
Electrolyte Production
Capchem USA produces three categories of electrolytes for use in battery chemicals:
01
Electrolytes for primary lithium-ion batteries
Electrolytes are one of the key components of the primary lithium-ion battery, lending to characteristics including high specific energy and long service life. Our products are mainly used in portable electronics, healthcare equipment, and power supplies for special usage scenarios.
02
Electrolytes for secondary lithium-ion batteries
Electrolytes are used for secondary lithium-ion batteries that can be repeatedly charged and discharged. Depending on the formulation composition, secondary lithium-ion electrolytes can be used in new energy vehicles, electrochemical energy storage, 3C digital devices, electric power tools, and electric light vehicles, among others.
03
Electrolytes for supercapacitors
Electrolytes for supercapacitors carry and conduct current between anode and cathode, affecting the charge and discharge performance and rate, energy density, safety, cycle performance, performance at high and low temperatures, storage performance and device cost.
Capchem's supercapacitor electrolyte products are mainly used in new energy vehicles, new energy power generation systems, electrochemical energy storage systems, smart distributed grid systems, and consumer electronics, among others.
